A visit to Wild Rock is a manageable weekend trip from many communities in the Mid-Atlantic United States, whether arrival is by car or plane. Its central location makes it convenient for family and friends to gather in the mountains of West Virginia.

Charleston Yeager Airport is located about an hour from Wild Rock. The airport is served by major airlines with daily flights to and from larger hubs in Washington, D.C., Charlotte, N.C., or Pittsburgh, Pa., among others. Lewisburg, W.Va., about an hour away, has direct flights from Atlanta and New York City.
Beckley, W.Va., has a number of connector commuter flights from Pittsburgh, Washington, D.C., and other locations.
Additionally, the New River Gorge private airfield is on Wild Rock land and a private airport in Summersville is just 20 minutes away on U.S. Route 19.
